What is Alpha?
Good question!
Aussie's today are searching. Are you looking for some purpose, direction and
maybe answers to some of those “big” questions of life?
The
Alpha Course has been going in Australia for over ten years. It’s not a Church
service, it's a chance for anyone to come along to a local Church or other venue
and find answers to the questions of life. The course runs once a week over ten
weeks and includes one weekend. It consists of a series of talks addressing key
issues relating to the Christian faith.
On the
first night the topic is Christianity: Boring, Untrue and Irrelevant? Why not come
along and see what you make of it. You never know, it could
provide the answers that you've been looking for.
The
course format includes:
Dinner - There is a light meal together at the beginning of
each session which gives people a chance to get to know each other.
Talk - After each talk we divide into small groups to discuss
the topic of the evening, ask questions and express opinions.
Coffee & small groups - Listen, learn, discuss and
discover. Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too
hostile.

How much will it cost?
There is no charge
for the Alpha course, although you will be asked to make a donation towards food
